Spectral Distribution
While most of the conventional IPLs’ spectral distribution is less efficient to the target tissue, due to the less amount of reactive spectrum to chromophore, SOLARI’s spectral distribution is much more efficient on the target tissue since it contains more amount of reactive spectrum to the chromophor.
SOLARI’s sharp slope of the spectral distribution graph shows that SOLARI’s pulse is highly selective to the particular indication. On the other hand, other IPLs show more gentler slope. This means less selective to the target chromophor. When user tries to increase the fluence for greater amount of spectrum, this will likely induce side-efffects as it will also increase the other wavelength.
Time Resolved Spectral Distribution
Fluctuating spectrum vs. Stable spectrum
When using SOLARI, users can expect the predicatable treatment outcome as SOLARI has very stable spectrum. SOLARI’s time resolved spectral distibution shows no changes as time goes while other IPLs time resolved spectral distribution is very fluctuating. This will induce higher possibility of side effect due to the highly variable amount of spectrum during short firing time(ms)

The amount of emitting light is proportional to the pattern of the currents.
Compared to the conventional IPL which shows rounded shape of the current pattern makes short wavelength , and thus it may create sudden energy emission to induce side-effects. On the other hand, SOLARI has very stable and flat shape of the current pattern which has very stable energy to avoid side-effects
