  In general younger, more elastic skin has greater ability to tighten or contract after subsurface volume reduction, otherwise older, less elastic skin is less able to adjust.


• Pre-Op. Check Target Area
  1. Amount of volume that will be removed
  2. Check the skin condition with palpation and pinch test : skin tension, skin thickness etc.
  3. Size and shape of underlying skeletal support structures
  4. Check face asymmetry at front view


• General Condition
  Reasonable baseline health for laser therapy
  Eliminate propensity for bruising or bleeding


• Various bleeding disorders may be contraindication.
• Aspirin and other blood thinners must be stopped before OP.
